The forum was down in the last 16 hours because of a crashed database server and as a result a corrupted table afterwards, which couldn't be fixed remotely and (Murphy's Law) the support of our hoster had just closed.
Should you notice any problems, please let me know.

Good to be back and yess Murphy is always riding with us (as I wrote in several thereads).
My bike is Italian so it is Nervosa and of course has Anorexia I like them thin!

During the outage I actually went over to the r.b.* newgroups to get my daily fix. (shutter!)

We were down again - according to the hoster now it turned out that both database crashes were caused by a DDoS attack on the mySQL-Server.
They've taken steps to prevent this effectively for the future.

Another database problem occured, hwich caused a 2 hour downtime.
I'll investigate into this problem with our hoster tomorrow.

The problem seems to be related with the script used to display the latest threads on the home page in combination with a bug/memory leak in mySQL.
