Does anyone know of a service which can change cycling short pads? I've got some very well made shorts with poor quality pads-I'd like to get the pads changed but don't know where to turn.

To be hounest, i've never heard of any service like that.

if it does exist, this will be an expensive job.

I've had a beeter pad put in my shorts by these people. The only problem I had was that the new pad made the shorts efectivley smaller in the pad area. Maybe they gathered to much material into the pad area when they sewed them. Not sure. They don't fit. The shorts might have been small in the first place.

Thanks Papa! I recently bought some really nice Exte-Ondo shorts, but the pads are awful and I'm loosing weight by attrition- having my butt scraped off! Your link has led me to someone who might be able to do the needed repairs. Thanks again!

SL is funny-he's one of the funniest and most amusing guys on the site. You can tell a lot about him from his avatar-he's bright eyed, safety-conscious (cute little helmet on)-but the man needs a shave bad-and those ears have got to be pinned back! (Just kidding)
But I love him and one day soon I'm going to buy some of his pedal inserts and save a couple of micrograms on my Speedplays.
