Moderator: robbosmans
I wouldn't imagine you would.
Why are you changing? I have the Team Issue.

Moonbiker wrote:can somebody tell me if i have to change the Headset in order to exchange the scott superlite fork with the team issue?
lot of people are using the Easton SLX fork on the CR1 as well.
Dear Michael,
We have tested the CR 1 SL fork up to 110 kg without problem but which such a light fork I would not use it in your case ,I would use the normal CR 1 Team Issue fork which the best choice in your case.
Best regards

I told him I was 91kg (I'm 80) but wanted Idea
Does it give us a limit - no so it's up to each person I guess
another reply from Hermann. Great customer service from Scott Europe
Michael,
This fork we use for uphill TT on Giro and Tour de France and other big race's some people use it also on super light bikes with 5 or 6 kg weight target.
You can check out the Fork test at http://www.efbe.de/defbefrm.htm and it was tested up to 110 kg so you can use it but the riding performance in your case is much better with CR 1 Team Issue fork we at Scott use it only for special races and super light bikes.
We have also some customers over 90 kg which use the SL fork and the are happy,I have 74 kg and use the normal CR 1 Team Issue fork and feel great in down hills and corners.
Hope to answer all your questions.
Best regards
Hermann
