so it seems the scott and the giant have the same BB stiffness. how about lateral stiff?

Scott CR1 Team Issue: 84.7Nm/° @ 890g = STW: 91.2Nm/°/kg
Scott CR1 Pro: 83 Nm/° = STW 88Nm/°/kg

Giant TCR Composite 56Nm/° @ 1100g = 50 Nm/°/kg
Giant TCR Advanced 67Nm/° @ 1030g = 65Nm/°/kg

Sucks,, yeah, but I got other good news, my team sponser bike shop has just become the scott dealer for my region and several other states, so he has a CR1, very cool.

Not only that, but he has the 2005 frameset as well! Supposidly 20g lighter from the 2004 since it doesn;t use ti bolts on the rear triangle, and all bonded seat/chainstays, will get pic and weight of that in a week or so with my digital CAMRY, lol, funny, thats also happens to be what I drive.

Yeah, it's gone. Wasn't sold as previously posted, just was there for show.

Yeah, because it DIDN"T HAVE ONE! You know prototypes ( which is what it is looking like it was, or pre production ) didn't have integrated posts.

please elaborate more on the scott cr1 2005, are they anymore changes? i would love to pair it with the hsc 5sl fork from look, looks like a winner

Hey spytech

The differences between the 04 and 05 are this,

1. The the seat/chainstays are no longer bolted in place at the drop outs, but completly bonded in place to save about 20g.

2. The weave has been changed to a fat weave wich gives it a very unique apperance.

Other then that it is identical, same decals and everything. Hopefully I'll get a pic up.

The Cr1 Pro has always had a larger weave pattern compared to the Team Issue (and nicer decals )



I prefer the tighter weaved look of the T.I.
