The next mourning i threw on my race wheels and filled a bottle about half full with sports drink which i figured would be about right for a 45 minute effort. About half way up the climb i finished the bottle and threw it to one of my friends who was leap-frogging us with her car. I finished 8th place which I was pleased with considering the early season (Alaska) and the guys that beat me are either very fit or climbing specialists. After i reached the top and swallowed my lung back down I went to load my bike back on the car and i noticed one little thing i missed. I left my seat bag on.
