Looking at the photos above the question still remains, "How do you attach such a set to a (ny) seat post?

Don't know why you would say that. AX liteness has produced saddles that are 56g, and the new tune design must take off quite a bit with the rails being integrated into the saddle.

Why are you so skeptical?

looks like the Corima seatpost would work for that thing.

Can you explain or post an image of the seat post that would attach to "nothing".

See that yellow (I think Kevlar) double section along both sides? Those are the rails. They mount on a regular seat post.

Nino is already using one of these, and of course, he has some good feedback.

See the MTBR.com thread below:

HEY NINO!

Can we get an in depth review now that you've had it for a while? Doubt he'll chime in here as he hasn't yet, so mods, can I make yet another thread about this as a direct question to nino?
I'm curious how it compares to the speedneedle in particular. I'm finding he speedneedle quite stiff...bites my ass some days, and feels ok others. Logged about two 6 hour rides on it so far and think I might need more flexion though I only weigh 59 kilos sopping wet!
