Well, I found out today from a postal boy (not the kind that carries mail) that the new sponsership for 2005 is none other then.......

Discovery Channel! :unbelievable:

Just thought you guys would like to know before the press release. I was hoping for a 7- Eleven come back my self. 8)

So does this mean The Croc Hunter will be the new team spokesman?

ADDED 11PM Eastern

Cycling news beat me to it, go check out the link provided below.

I just hope they can cover some races since I don't get OLN. I would have loved a 7-Eleven/Huffy:D comeback as well.

Damn it!

Oh well

I got to talk to Mike Creed today and he told me this morning, didn't think they were putting it out today.

Oh well, so much for beating the press.

You beat the heck out of the press!

You just didn't quite beat rumors through the 'net. :D

I think the guy who owns the discovery channel lives in the Telluride/Ouray area

maybe we see some training camps out here in Colorado next year.

Does discovery own OLN? I see OLN as a sponsor on the postal jersey's now.

Will be interesting to see how or if the sponsor reacts to the rumors in that new LA Confidential book to Lance and doping. Not quite the family entertainment value they are looking for from Lance

He said, she said...... but Lancer is coming out swinging on this one and has filed all sort of law suits on the publisher and soon to be the authors....

Perfect timing in order to hit the new sponsors below the belt.......

I even heard all about it on NBR radio yesterday. Guess it's a big deal. Might even add some fire under his belt, which I think he needs.
