Isn't tune supposed to be coming out with some crazy light parts soon? Have any of these seen the light of day yet, and if not, when?

Very clever design to reduce weight, including the rails as part of the saddle's side. WHy didn't I think of that?

Good Work Pyf! Isn't this the first sneak peak to the world? About the saddle, I like the way it is made. making the rails part of the sides. Probably very strong and we must say light!
When will this be for sale?
Is there a rider weight limit?
What will it cost?

Thanks for the preview!

Yes Frankie you're right

the one of the bike is not a final version, just a prototype

but the one of the scale is the final version number 0001

I do not have the exact delivery date, but I think should be available within the next days or at least weeks

price : I don't remember... sorry

weight limit : not sure, what I can tell you. Tune says ROAD ONLY (not for mtb). I've tried it, it's really really soft, softer carbon saddle I've seen.

I was thinking same way as Tune few years away, I tried to laminate over SLR-saddle...It would come nice I hadn't got carbon fibre then...Older boys may remember Sellei Italalia Pantani Integra Saddles? I will ever forget that idea. Put that idea with carbon fibre/kevlar and SLR shape!

the photo on the bike is definitely not a good example ;-)

but the bike is the mtb of a member of Tune company

he definitely confirms me : "ROAD ONLY"

sorry, I shouldn't have shown this picture, I've removed it from my first message

As SLite quite rightly noted this saddle apears to be a real innovation! What I'm not clear on is what type of clamp and post are used? It doesn't seem likely the standard clamp/post combos would work. I'd also like to know what the significance of "soft" carbon is? Is this another innovation and what does it mean to the rider?

Std clamps will fit. That's old innovation. Selle sanmarco or Italia made same kind saddles ~10 years ago. Not carbon then...200g's.

Flexitability comes from kevlar. I will not break or ripp but kevlar is very poor to make supportive or stiff stuctures. So there is the secret for comfort.
