What tubular for LW ?

Hi to everybody,
excuse me for the language, but not knowing the English I am using a translator.
I would be busy a question you: having the fortune, after months of savings, to have the LW
which are the tubular ones of quality comparable to those of the wheels to climb on?? :oops:

hi,

just to keep it simple that´s my opinion about tubulars:

1.dugast (really expensive & hard to get)
2.veloflex
3.tufo

I like Tufo. They are rounder compared to Veloflex. They are made differently. No tube. The tire holds the air. Tufo have a sealant that you can put in them that keeps small holes form leaking and they have a new red tape that is great for mounting them. Just my opinion

Hard to get? i ordered them online and had them within days. The owner even made the effort to call me personally and clear some details.
I agree, they are expensive, but i think they follow the Lightweight Wheels' philosophy best: Handmade by specialists from the best possible material, and the exact opposite of mass produced mainstream stuff...

In the US Veloflex prices have gone up so much this year the Dugast are only about $10 more per tire (and even less if he would stop unnecessarily charging VAT to the US). He seems to be doing a much better job forecasting demand too. It only took 2 weeks to my door for my order this spring.

Dugast tubulars are now made by a dutchman, formerly by a frenchman

I will use Tufo S3 Lite <215g's. 21mm,light,black and fine rolling. Seem to be quite durable...and cheap.
