Gentilemen, this is the moment I've trained for!

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm ridding sectionals road race tomorrow for a qualifying spot on our team to nationals. This time I have the home field advantage too, 10 miles from my home at the Air Force Academy.
The really cool thing is the course is the same from the 1984 Worlds, so it's gonna be sweet!
Anyone else gonna be out there, to race or watch?
Nationals, here I come!

Just depends if we have anyone to show up and suppoort us.
Guess who's going to nationals?
Ahhhhh, over 3 hours of grueling pain, and over 2 hours of it was climbing. I managed to get 30th, assuring my spot in Madison Wisconsin.
Anyone else here going to race? Spectators?
Now if you'll excuse my, I'm going to pass out on my bed for the next 24 hours.

As for my bike, just used my CAAD 7 SI Saeco.
Distance was 63 miles, it consisted of 5 12.6 mile laps. Man, now I know why it was a former worlds course!
thats pretty good, laps are bigger than what i do in central park (6 miles)

good luck in Madison Superlite. I won't be there, but my fiance is covering the race for TIAA-CREF. Collegiate Nationals has some CRAZY strong riders every year.
