...the new da uses a special type of bb.
it´s not compatible with octa or campy...

the lightest fsa crankset is the team issue superlight,
you could use a shim 9 speed bb.
>>just take a look at the listions (on top of the left hand corner)

cheers

tobias.
nothing.

Look at the Velonews review, they tested both cranks for stiffness.

Dura ace was the stiffest crankset ate 1680lb/in

FSA Superlite was 1100ln/in

I have ridden both, and they are both very stiff. Personally I do not like the q-angle of the FSA cranks though, my feet always rubs the arms.

superlite you have ridden both, do you see a big difference from the FSA superlights to the Dura ace 04 crank. can you actually tell the difference in stiffness?

My shoes have never rubbed on my 04DA cranks. That may have to do with the position of your cleat :?

I was refering to the FSA cranks.

Really, I couldn't tell a difference. I did however have a perceived differece that the DA 10 was stiffer, which it is, but I think I was only feeling the aluminum crank arms harsher ride. The carbon exorbs the harsh ride that you feel with aluminum.
