Just got back from watching the tour de georgia

What a great event - well run, great access to the riders (lance not so much as there were so many people wanting to see him

Here's some pic's of Cipo with his fans, on the steepest climb (he used a triple) and in the pack. He even waved to fans as he rode! - if they yelled in Italian

Rumour has it that Cipo even plans to finish the Tour de France this year!!
But only time will tell.

Would be fantastic for the sport and for Cipo if he rode to Paris. What a way to retire!
I am sure he will get a stage or two on the way!

My fiance was snapping at Georgia, and said Cipo was the complete opposite of Lance - open, willing to talk to fans, very friendly with everyone. Lance on the other hand knocked her over from behind as she was shooting a snap at a stage start.
