Hello everyone

I am a trainee weightweenie who is blessed with a (mostly) slim physique which helps me get up the hills but can leave me wanting on the flat.

Winter sees me riding my fixed wheel (FGG 2767) but for the summer I recently bought a Merlin Magia frame with Ritchey WCS fork and transfered my Campag Chorus and Nucleon wheels. Not the epitomy of weightlessness but a good 2lbs less than my previous Reynolds 753 set up. A Rolls Titanio saddle and a Specialized Pave carbon post ensure comfort.

I reckon I could save 1lb quite easily and in time will be looking to upgrade to 10 speed Record - anyone got a groupset that they want to part with?

Happy riding and peace to all.

Tim

Don't get me wrong, I love the ride and feel of the Magia just as it is (especially the plush ride and acceleration) but I am currently running an Chorus 8 speed group which is great to use but I would like to upgrade when funds allow.

I can certainly find a couple of pounds to lose from myself in the meantime!
