Hi. I have just bought a 2017 Scott addict SL frameset and looking for help from you all as to build out. I have to go etap due to frame, so that's groupset taken care of. I would love your thoughts on the following:
- should I get the standard sram chainset? Are there decent alternatives?
- I don't have to get the sram red brakes, so any recommendations on decent light brakes?
- for wheels I like carbon clinchers. My old zip 303 have to go as they are campy, so looking for something light around £1300.
- I like the look of the Deda Superlag. Bars, stem and post. Seem good value and okay weight. Any thoughts on this?
I am looking to get around 6.4kg.
Thanks so much!

Congrats! Hope you love your new Addict SL. What is it replacing in your stable?
It's a BB86 pressfit, right?
It's rather limiting as I found out firsthand. There's SRAM GXP (what I picked with a Kogel ceramic road BB) and maybe an Easton crank or THM for big $ (what I wanted to pick).

Sorry forgot to say. Replacing a pinarello dogma 60.1 BOB. Beautiful stiff ride but pretty heavy indeed. Loaded was 7.9kg excl pedals.

Yes. Campy 11-speed cassette works fine with SRAM/Shimano 11-speed drivechain.
But I think you can change the wheelset to Roval CLX 50 for a lighter build (and tubeless setup).
