Geographically yes. But in common useage the UK is differentiated from "Europe".

I live in Welland, Ontario, Canada. In the Niagara peninsula and a short hop to the US border.

If you say so... but North America includes Canada and people only usually think of US.
Shouldn't it be differentiated as well?

Nothing political. I separated UK because of what seems like a significant cycling population and interest there.

Yeah i would agree. If someone says 'that looks very european' in australia i don't picture a sunburnt pom in my mind.
