My TT bike is nearly finished: still need a disc wheel and change the Ultegra cranks (will happen if I'd bee able to by an FSA SRM for my other bike, or if we ever recieve the ZG-cranks). But at the moment I don't have the funds for it.

I bought the frameset second handed. It used to be one of team Lotto-Adecco's TT bikes, only used 3 times by Thierry Marichal (now Cofidis). After that it was in possession of a good friend of me, a very talented youthfull rider here in the neighbourhood (he won a big U23 race last Sunday!!) who brought the Litespeed to several victories.

When I bought it from him, stickers were a bit damaged, and yellow:

Pictures of the building process can be seen in the "What TT aerobars to choose?"-topic.

This is how the bike looked like a while ago:

But I purchased a brand new set of Litespeed stickers, of high quality, removed the old ones with acetone and decorated my bike with the new ones! The bike looks like new!!!

A real nice TT bike Casran! And you are ride when you say that the frame looks like new! And I'm a big fan of the white stickers on a Litespeed. :D
Now only a disk wheel on the back and you'll have a real dream TTB.

very nice C a s r a n! I like what you did with the white stickers and ofcourse the LW's look stunning on there as well ;o)
Does the former owner happen to be MvA at any chance?
Good luck with racing it! (maybe your team has a disc you can borrow for the tt's?)

5 in a row!
That must be the world record for photos of the non-drive side of a bike!

Casran,
Looks great indeed and you did a good job with the decals.
FYI, that year I was with the team in the training team before christmas in Spain, and also spent a bit more than a week with them during the Tour de Flanders, Gent-Wevelgem and Paris Roubaix. I even got to ride with the team every day during training camp and with Thierry and Peter and the rest of the Spring Classics team during the recon ride just before Paris Roubaix. That was a very unique and memorable experience. :-)

casran, that bike rocks! gets another little bit better with every modification you make.
have you thought about an aero seat post like giant or something?just an idea.
yesterday i bought my lightweight disc wheel. it's the "older" model with the black spokes on the surface. didn't have the time to weight it, had to put cassete, qr and tub on it to hang it into the bike as fast as possible.
at the moment the last planned modification is a jtek brakelever for the rear wheel at the extension, the problem is that i've mounted the shifters upsidedown ans like this the normal third lever can't be mounted. jtek is planning a new brakelever that looks a bit like the fsa version of csc, but the lever points backwards like e.g. on the hed aerobars, in contrary to csc's bikes.
swiss tt championships are very flat this year with fast corners, i can gain some seconds when staying in the extensions, so i'll order them sa soon as possible.

My Blade is updated now. I finally got rid of the old Ultegra crankset, and mounted an SRM Pro crankset (coming from my Merckx Team SC training bike; crank will be moved between these two bikes).

I know. Not really TT gears. The bike was used by a tourist today; he rode 38 km/u average, so these gears were good for him.

My cockpit. Finally full control with the SRM Powercontrol! 8)

Awesome brake levers, the Blackwell Research ones:

On the non-drive side you can see how I attached the SRM cables.

I got some Continental Tempo 22 time trial tubulars through Tsielio. Their are very fine!

Oh yes, I use Bontrager quick release. I think they're more aero than the 2005 Campy ones. I like them a lot.

Being a weight weenie, I used a left Record carbon crank instead of the SRM one! 8)

I just love the shine on these massive titanium tubes:

And in case you'd doubt... it's a Blade, made to cut the air:

My favorite detail... the seatpost clamp:

I love it, so much better with the white decals.

Shouldn't you change/remove the decals on the fork too?
