First time at NAHBS, moved to SLC a few months back for work and NAHBS also moved to SLC. Perfect.

FSA WE, sorta ugly...

Surprisingly, Werking came from Italy.

Lightweight Urgestalt Disc. Sub 800g without hardware, 850g with. 340g fork uncut. 100x12 TA front, 142x12 TA rear, slight geo changes (fork rake, CS length, I think same stack?), D shaped post is now 27.2mm.

Image

Gravel suspension fork from Fox... Not sure why this exists...

Image

Velocolour came from Canada.

Image

Image

The lines are the raw Ti underneath and are all hand masked. Crazy.

Image

Image

Image

This is definitely not Karsten's Stinner.

Image

Image

Full Berk cockpit on a steel bike! Forgot to take pics of the SRP front end.

Image

Image

Cherubim looks gaudy in this photo, but its pretty nice.

Image

Argonaut cut a bike in half.

Image

Image

Image

Thomson has 25mm setback posts and the Masterpiece C! The Masterpiece C will have Ti hardware as stock, and the clamp mechanism is injection molded carbon. 330mm and 410mm lengths only. The 25mm setback Masterpiece will use the same carbon shaft and light bits as the straight Masterpiece C.

Image

Chris King has new hub and headset finishes. The R45/D have black anodized hubshells and axles, which is cool. You can buy them separately but they're gonna be expensive.

Image

Image

Image

Appleman's donut bike. Also him in the back eating a sandwich. White Industries headset bling, ENVE barstem.

Image

Image

Nice welds on a Mosaic.

Image

Sean's Stinner with the new MOPEs, Jone's Wheelworks was in the same booth but they were busy so I didn't ask anything. :/

Image

LOW Road with cool ass finish.

Image

Image

White Industries headsets! Straight internal, 34mm 1 1/8" external cup, 44mm tapered, 44mm straight steerer with a step down crown race (hes planning an internal cup 44mm though), and 44-49mm tapered.

Image

Interesting design here, forgot his name. Three bearings in the headset, two in normal position and one on top of the stem.

Image

And Kevin with Cryptic with a light ass frame thats to be tested to failure after the show.

Thanks for taking the time to post... I'll be there Sun.

Yup, agreed on your aesthetic opinion of FSA WE.
Since we're among friends, that RD looks atrocious.

I totally dig Low's gray camouflage (?) color scheme.

Too bad about the DA wheels on the lightweight Cryptic.

Definitely plan on giving the cut in half Argonaut a long look.

That rainbow Stinner reminds me of Klein from way back when.

Great to see Berk getting some build love. Good for him and his team.

As an aside, Velocolour has a fun IG feed if anyone's interested.

That Stinner rider is a lucky dude, can you get us more/better pics of it?

Wonder how the new WI purple headset would look on that bike?
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

This is MANDARIC with the interesting stem/headset .
Very much like Cherubim. IMO the bike builder who combines retro and modern on a top level. Each build has a message.
Thanks for sharing.

Excellent post, thank you for sharing!

Appleman's donut bike: Are the "sprinkles" paint or glued on? They look 3D.

The 3 bearing HT/headset: The design is interesting but I can't help but think that the edges of the HT and the sides of the stem will wear and look bad over time. I mean every once in a while as you're transporting or washing or moving the bike, the front-end will inevitably turn as far as it can go. In this setup the stem would run right into the HT.

Damn I wanted to be there. Only one major trip planned until my doctors say I'm in remission. That's not till March 28th when I meet with my medical day the day after a PET scan.

Please post more pictures. Some mtb and fat bike stuff would be cool too!
