Has anyone tried these tires? I have tried searching the forum for this topic but there doesn't seem to be any review or feedback on these tires at all. I'm thinking of getting them in a 23mm size and they are light (2nd lightest clincher I know). So I just want that how do they perform and how puncture-proof are these?

thanks

Hi,

Yeah the 23mm Kenda Kaliente Lites are light. I verified their weight on my scale and they do weigh around 165g give or take a gram or so. I've just put them on my wheels, so not too many miles on them yet, less than 100 hilly miles so far. I'm using them with Performance Lunar Light inner tubes. I haven't had a puncture yet, but only time will tell. So hopefully they perform well and I don't get a puncture. Once I have more miles on these tires, I'll post a follow up.

Thanks,

-Josef

Hi, I been using the Kanda Kaliente Lite Pro for a couple of months now and just came back from a trip to Mallorca where I put in a few hundred miles with no punctures or cuts.

They are set up with Conti Supersonic tubes on my AMClassic CR350 wheels and are V light!. 163g and 162g repectively.

I would recommend them. Get the tyre without the Iron Cloak as this
adds about 30g per tyre.

For the Australian members, Brad Craft sells these at a very competitive price http://stores.ebay.com.au/Velocraft_W0QQsspagenameZL2QQtZkm
I hope to get some soon.

What are their durability like for such a light tyre?

Brian

Durability seem to be better than my Conti Supersonic 23's so far
