Either way he just had to go last minute shopping for a middle eastern sugar daddy. Nice new years present for all those riders and staff to still have a job!

Reports from China is that the central government is tighting the money going out of the Country for sponsorship, simply because they dont want money to leave the place and due to often sponsorship being used a money laundry.

Yes Contador just put the picture of him with the kit on his insta. Apparently they're keeping the fluo color :(

All of them will be, the reduction in the number of teams has been postponed.

Thanks - I did not know that.
Still think it is silly how Cannondale wasn't in contention for losing their status, though they had one of most visibly bad seasons out there.

That doesn't really figure. They don't seem to have any problem with the Chinese soccer league throwing vast sums of money around. The TJ-Sport deal would have been pocket change compared to any deal for a single overseas footballer, and they've been signing them as fast as they can. Just before christmas Oscar and Tevez were signed for a combined £65M in transfer fees and £50M per year in salary - all going straight out of the country.

Great to hear that the TJ-Sport team has survived with new sponsors.

I'd argue that professional cycling's current business model makes "amateurish" look professional in comparison.

Apparently that will be their training kit.
The new one presented on 13th January.

Wonder why they didn't continue deal with bontrager... It appears like Contador said "Sportful or don't count on me " :)

So Bora-Hansgrohe haven't done their homework on how the WC jersey should look like. Amateurs.

Looks good to me. Like Wout Van Aert in CX now with a custom Felt, looks very good.
I think Sagan was just warming up in 2016

It's painfully obvious he is running away from cycling as fast as possible right now. Suspect he'll lay low for a few years and pop up as a director on some team.

nah, no boring daily job for mr. Wiggo. my money is on him signing a killer book deal that will eventually lead to a proper hollywood blockbuster about cycling... and other things as well. whether it's gonna happen in the next three or thirteen years is the only unknown (depending on how and when will certain things unfold) but that it will I've no doubt at all...
