I need to update the bike pic. It now weighs in at 17.1 lbs. (Oh, no, it gained weight :shock: ) Here are the components.

Litespeed Tuscany (decals removed)
Dura Ace 7800 (triple with 7900- 27/12 cassette-- I need it for climbing!)

Selle SMP Carbon color saddle (it turns out, I need the steel rails!) (mfg. claimed weight = 165g; actual weight = 184g)

Here's an embed from my recent trip to the Netherlands. This ride traced some of the Amstel Gold route. That last little bump on the Elevation graph on the full page is the Cauberg (1 mile at 11%).

I've had some trouble from time-to-time keeping the seatpost from slipping. Usually, I'm running late when I'm heading out to catch the group so don't always have time to check.

I've raised the seatpost, and am dropping the handlebars. (Actually, I'm waiting for new bars and will eventually cut down the top of the fork tube. If you look closely, I think you can see three spacers under the stem. We can ask Herbert, but I think that Litespeed designed the Tuscany for a more upright position.) :noidea:

Seat up, stem longer, bars dropped a skosh... or stay upright if you wish.

I dropped the bars 2 spacers' worth; when I get the new carbon bar (I'm waiting for the biomorphe from 3T, which is supposed to be available in May) I'll probably drop it the the third spacer's worth and have the top of the fork cut.

Seat is higher now. As for position, I usually switch between riding the brake hoods and the drops -- probably 60/40.

The other question is: Should I get a seatpost with a setback? (Am leaning toward the Thomson masterpiece, but should probably replace the fork and wheels before that.)

Anyway, you can check it out in Chattanooga next month and tell me what you think.
