This looks really interesting from Tacx, effectively it is their challenger to the Kickr

It is a pretty cool design and looks a bit more stylish compare to the Kickr, which looks a bit industrial. Whether it is as durable is another question though as the Kickr is built to last.
Anyway, good to see competition. Maybe something to replace my Tacx Genius with for this winter? I only hope they have availability for the autumn. It always amazes me that companies bring out turbo trainers in the autumn at Eurobike and then don't have them in the shops/stores until the peak indoor winter training period has passed!

For the life of me I cannot understand why they designed it with a front wheel stand
You could use it with or without, the bike frame will pivot around the rear drop-out.
Many people prefer a raised front wheel as it feels a bit more like riding uphill when climbing.
Whatever the case it is good to have more competition for Kickr and Lemond

I am really looking forward to hearing first-hand reports of this trainer. Anyone ridden one yet?
The principle would seem a good one, but it is un-nerving to buy the first iteration of a new technology.
