I'm going to use Carbon Screws where they don't affect durability but am unsure of the sizing. Here is what is available from Schmolke.

M4x16 0,8 Nm 0,5 g € 7,--
M5x20 1,5 Nm 0,7 g € 8,50
M5x20 countersunk 1,5 Nm 0,7 g € 8,--
M6x30 4,0 Nm 1,3 g € 9,50
M6x16 countersunk 4,0 Nm 0,7 g € 8,--

For Cage screws I assume I need M4x16?
For front derailleur M5x20 countersunk? How many?
For Headset Cap M6x16 countersunk?
Rear Derailleur Pulleys? Or is it meaningless as Record has Ti already.

Bike will be a Storck Scenario 1.1 with '04 Record, (except for Storck Power Arms) Zero Gravity Brakes Syntace Stem with Ti Bolts.

Can I use Carbon Screws anywhere else without effecting Durability?

It looks like I'm looking at a bike weight of about 5.7 kilos with everything rated for my weight (100kg) that can be riden as a regular bike.

Thanks for your help.

I would only use them for times when you only fit one bottle cage to fill the holes, otherwise use Ti or Al.

For 2004 Record pulley bolts, they are steel, there are Al ones around to replace them with. For the FD, it's "braze on" so use a 5x9mm and a 5x16mm, I've used Al in this location for years.

The cap bolt size depends on the wedge (not used with a Storck fork) but I don't know the thread size for that until I see my Stiletto Light!

Sounds like your putting together a nice bike.

Thanks,

Do you know anywhere on-line where I can order all the aluminum screws I need?

How do you like your Zerolite Cassette, does it shift well?

I have loads left over sitting here if you want to PM me with your needs I'll let you know what colors I have.

I've only used it for a couple of hundred miles, but it shifts very well, I can't tell the difference between it and a Campy Record cassette.
