Once more: he didn't use them during the race. ;)
They were only installed for the public show-off.

What saddle does he have on that?
Success is how far you you bounce back up after being knocked down

He's gone back to using a level top tube instead of the sloping ones of 2003, I wonder why?

I don't think the frame is painted, but has a clear coat after being bead blasted...

He's not the only one:
Zabel gave an interview before Mailand - San Remo where he said that he won't ride the new sloping frame,
instead he rides an old one from last year, because he doesn't like the geometry.

Interesting after Giant spent so much time with ONCE to develop the frames. I guess they will have to make some custom frames in regular geometry?

yeah, you´re right. during the 02 season he rode regular zebra-striped E5 frames-the worlds was also a sloping one...but then he stopped using them...

He didn't explicitely say that the old one will be a non-sloping type, he just said he doesn't like the geometry of Giant's new frame for the current season and that he will ride a model from last year.
