Former World U23 'Cross champ Enrico Franzoi (Lampre Fondital) of Mogliano, Italy near Venice recently rode to victory in the Italian cross championship on his new Wilier Triestina 'cross bike, a one-off frame, with measurements suggested by Franzoi. Wilier Triestina's Andrea Gastaldello told Cyclingnews that "Franzoi's bike is a special, one-off model, but we are considering adding a cyclocross frame to our range for 2007."
Franzoi's Wilier Triestina 'Cross has Deda 7000 series aluminum tubing and traditional, not sloping geometry. Component wise, the Wilier Triestina 'Cross was equipped with Campagnolo Record CF chainset (48x39) 25x12), Ritchey WCS carbon fork and high-profile Fulcrum wheels with Dugast tubular cyclocross tires. A Fi'zi:k Lampre team issue Airone saddle, ITM bars & stem and Ritchey carbon fibre seatpost rounded out Franzoi's componentry.
While his Lampre Fondital team is at their first mini training camp of the season in warm and sunny Terracina, south of Rome, Franzoi is hard at work in his cold, wintery Veneto region preparing for the World Cyclocross Championships in Zeddam, Netherlands at the end of January.

that fork is not the new ritchey WCS Carbon.. the ritchey is not a straight blade fork.
the fork is a ridley/4za fork, but coloured as wilier fork. the geometry is surely not a one off for franzoi, look at his stem:the stem is short, and under the stem there is about 10 cm of spacers, you won't let them design a frame for you and calculate that you have to use 10 cm of spacers.
i would not buy this bike since it's very heavy, around 8,5 kg. the lightweights he used in hoogerheide belong to richard niewhuis(dugast).

The bike of Franzoi is one of the heavyst they i have lift up from one professionall rider minimum 8,5kg.......
The italian nationalteam was in the same hotel where i stay.
The fork is one Ridley/4za Python with Ritchey stickers.....the frame is one model from taiwan, just with Team-Lampre painting.
But i can't belive the 8-10cm spacer under the stem
Thats not realy professional and not very save
