Nice idea. i will buy this. Hopefully they will bring out a bottle bigger than 600ml if the rivet connection is strong enough that is.

It's a modern version of a cage that came out around 1978, not that that detracts from it in anyway.

Downside is that you don't have any choice but to run their bottles.

Can be compared to the Vincero magnetic cages - which I have two of on my CX bike when riding trails - they were 20gms all up. In the article they obviously haven't done much research saying the lightest carbon cages they could find were 38grams - that's a heavy carbon cage!!

How much does a normal 600ml bottle weigh empty btw? I've never weighed one myself

interesting minimalistic idea. Perhaps other bottle makers will begin making alternative bottles to fit the Fabric mounting studs :)

What about stress directly in bolts may cause issues in threaded holes Or the forces actions are equal to a traditional cage?
It's minimalistic design with a clean look but i think in terms of weight (73g bolts + bottle) can be find in lightweight cages like smud, tune, carbonworks + standard bottle (I never put bottle at scale anyway).

I think it's the fav water bottle thread, but somebody did weigh them, dry and with the last bit of water you can't get out @ 20mph...

: )
