Super nice build (as ever!).

As I'm swapping my SL for an SLi soon, I had some questions on the build:
- How did you do the 29-11 cassette? Is it a combo of standard ones?
- How much cable do you need? Would i-links rather than aican work as I have these already, or is this a bad idea because they won't thread / fit the holes / rattle?
- Did you get anywhere with the improved cable boss?
- How much weight does the Mcfk seat clamp save vs the Parlee carbon one?
- What did you do with the dog fang?

thanks very much.

The mcfk is 8 vs 18g and it's way nicer looking. You have to get a special order of a 12mm version, they come in 15mm high standard and over hang the frame and crack.
I links won't work for the brakes but the minis will work fine for shifting and you should be able to cable tie em together to reduce rattling.
The rear shift cable is pretty long. I only took a few cm off the cable when I cut it!
The dog fang has been drilled out, had the band cut down and a nylon bolt and nut fitted
And the frame bung...
I got a couple of spares from Parlee and slotted em with a razor blade. Then after installing I wrapped it with plumbers tape to lock in the cables and increase the interference fit.

The frame is really designed for electric, most high end frames are these days.
Fitting mech is always a bit of a compromise ;)

Long time between posts about this bike. I've opened my workshop up as a business so I'm very busy with other people's bikes hence the speed vagen and firefly in the background. So Its a bit different now. We have the new EE brakes fitted (very good updates to the brakes making them strong and easier to set up ) praxisworks turn cranks ( not the lightest but stuff and hassel free, ohh and very black ) and curve cycling rims built to white industry hubs ( built in house by me ). She's a bit heavier than it once was but... Ohh so nice

Nope.. I sell the praxis cranks and while they are nearly 300g heaver they are just to awesome to take off.. I have a set of verve infocranks to install though but given they are pretty much praxis turn cranks I can't see any dramas

The berk combo looks mint - always impressed with your electrical work as well, sharp rigs. The bar mod is especially rad.
Just ride ..
