Only the second Diamante I've seen, but I'm really loving the lines with that short stack stem.

I couldn't agree more. I'd love a set of the new Bora clinchers. I can't fault the Boyds though; they've been awesome wheels, especially as they cost half what Bora Ones would.

I knew virtually nothing about them until I saw this in a bike shop over a year ago. It was lust at first sight.

Thanks Michel. How's yours going? And how are the Boras?

Went our for a couple of rides. What should I say...I love it and the boras are so smooth to ride and handling - especially in windy conditions - is great. Something that appears quite often in northern germany
Nice. Hmmm, might be time to start saving up for some Boras...

It's very stiff through the bb and the front. Power transfer feels very immediate and sprinting out of the saddle and in the drops feels fantastic. It feels fast. Handling is great and the bike is a good descender, unlike its rider. It's stable and has that planted feel. It rides a bit harsher than my bmc team machine, but when I'm riding it a lot (unlike right now) I barely notice any discomfort. It's also aesthetically very beautiful. I love the shapes of the tubes and the way its lines flow, the curve of the fork and the small splashes of colour. Its looks are the main reason I got it; the fact that it's also a brilliant ride is a bonus!
BTW, I weigh 64kg, don't race and don't put out massive power as far as I know, so take my impressions of stiffness with a grain of salt. However, I'd be very surprised if stronger riders found it to be a noodle.
I see from another thread that you're considering buying one. Have you seen Michel's bike? His impressions pretty much match mine.

What colour are you thinking of getting?
