Hi,

I was looking for the new Vision Metron 4D handlebars (I am currently using an FSA K-Wing Compact).
Anyone already using one ?

Thx

Looks exactly like a K-Wing. I got rid of my K-Wing because they were too flexy. My current bar choice is 3T Ergonova Team, Zipp Carbon SL, or any of the Ritchey WCS aluminum bars.

Well, it's not exactly like a K-Wing. I have touched and photographed it 2 weeks ago during the Maratona dles Dolomites in Italy. FSA/Vision had a stand there (just like Fulcrum/Campy/Pinarello/Mavic). And although it shares a lot of features (dips near the STI's to place your hands, wing shaped top section), it also has some differences, like in the drops the sides at an angle are flattened, and the wing part ont top points away from the center.
I like it a lot, therefore my question

For what it's worth, I'm looking to try a set of the Metron bars, too. They are very hard to find, even online. I keep coming back to the FSA K-Wing and the Metron bar seems to have some interesting refinements, as you mentioned. Good luck with your search and please post a review if you pull the trigger on them.

Reviving this thread.
I just got a set.
I am on an aero road handlebar binge.
1st Enve SES, now on Zipp aero SL 70, soon to be riding Metron 4d.

Hi,
I recently installed this handlebar (in 42cm) on a Cannondale SuperSix from a friend of mine. Looks awesome, but took quite a while to redo the cables through the frame. Am now waiting for 44cm width in black/white to become available.

want!

bigfloor, have you compared the stiffness to the regular Enve or SES Aero bars? I felt like the SES bar flexed more than expected.

Did you find that you needed to lower the stem?

The height on the levers is the same, but on the wing part near the stem it's about 7mm higher. Could lower the stem

Many hand positions, but I am not sure that this bar is for me.
I may part with mine if anyone has interest.
It is a 40cm- mine is the nude one- even more subdued than the bar in the picture.

What didn't you like about it? I'm interested in the Metron 4D or the Zipp Aero SL 70. Can you describe the differences?

Thanks!
