SRM has not really come out with all the features on their new PC8 which should come late in January månede '15.

I am particularly thinking about PC8 can handle 4 power meter without having to pare power meter with PC8 every time you switch from Race to TT bike.

I also heard something about strava built into the unit, is the rumor true?

As the data is recorded with GPS then it can be uploaded to Strava. I have no idea whether the rides will also be exportable in some other formats like TCX. I also read somewhere (maybe a pre-order page) that the price is around £800 / €1000 / $1200 which is too high.

Found it, not confirmed but £700, according to this seller. Also mentions Strava being a driver.

I heard $500 for plastic and $750 for the aluminum version, but can't for the life of me find the press release for it.

It basically adds GPS and some metrics and the screen is more customizable. I don't know about the pairing, but I'm getting tired of waiting for it and if it wasn't for wanting to track my routes on Strava I'd just get a PC7 instead.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

I have one on pre-order. I think that the price was going to be ~$800, but don't remember exactly.

I talked to SRM USA a couple of weeks ago and was told that it should be available in February.
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

Has anyone talked to SRM in Germany about a release date? I talked to SRM USA earlier this week and they are saying the last they have heard from the office in Germany is March, but that it will probably be late March.

Does anyone have more input? I sold my PC7 back in December and hate the Garmin that I have been using until the PC8 comes out.

Battery life took a hammering!

Initial reports were 30 hours of battery life with GPS on, and 100 hours with GPS off (according to DC Rainmakers initial review). According to SRM is now 10 - 45 hours.
