I just ordered some Lizard Skin DSP grips for my bike, that would save you about 50 grams.

Think those tires are about 730+ each (my 2 Bontrager XR3s weigh 20g more than spec'd), and they look pretty narrow/don't look quite 2.25, so maybe something like the Ritchey WCS 29x2.1 could work. Depending on where you ride, you could do both tires, but at least do the rear as that would drop about 150 grams. I actually just replaced the rear 2.35 Nobby Nic on my 27.5 bike and it rocks. Just ordered the 29er version, so hopefully it's just as good.

These two tweaks would save you almost half a pound and would cost less than $100  !!

Just now noticed you asked if going to XX1 would save you weight...according to this article, it's 209 grams.

http://www.bikerumor.com/2012/12/05/sra ... l-weights/

And that's for XX1 specifically. If you did X1 or X01 it's going to be minimal weight difference to your XX.

I have XX1 on both bikes and would never go back to a 2x, but for the cost to change your drivetrain, I almost think you'd be better just going to a 1x10 and ditch the front derailleur and shifter of your XX. Do that, and the changes I mentioned above, and you could probably get close to 22.5lbs...for a fs w/ a dropper that's pretty awesome!

Going 1x10 will lose you more than 200g
Shifter - 98g
Cable outer - 40g (est)
Cable inner - 8g (est)
Front mech and bolts - 120g
Chainring - 30g (est) plus some extra savings on shorter single specific bolts and a slightly smaller chainring than the current large.

Claimed weight for the grips is 95g, lightweight foam can be as low as 15g

Not sure what the seatpost clamp is but it 'looks' fairly substantial, lighter can be had quite cheaply as its a fixed clamp.

Do you use the bottle cage? easy saving there.

There is also some scope there for some free tuning, for example the shifter cables are longer than required.
Impoverished weight weenie wanna-be!

Edited:

I'll start by saying that a lot of these options can be considered extreme, but since you asked; "Can I go lighter?", all my answers should be valid. Your bike already looks very nice though:)

Extralite stem, grips, top cap, star nut and fork axle (or Tune if you want a quick release), new handlebars (e.g. Tune, Enve etc.), Formula R1 Racing brakes, with some exotic discs (e.g. Scrubs). Lighter seat clamp, seat, cassette, headset spacers and wheels (the ones you've already got seems really nice, but there are lighter options). Enve rims on DT, Tune, or Extradite hubs should be quite a lot lighter I think (?). Probably other lighter options as well, but those where the ones that first came to mind. Full ceramic bearings everywhere. I guess you've already got Ti/alu bolts everywhere?

As I said, lot of extreme options, but still options.

Ditch your dropper and lock on grips- likely 2 lb savings.

I went a long time, without a dropper.....due to the increased weight. But, a recent high-speed crash(unclipped, on descent) convinced me a dropper could have prevented a crash that put me off the bike for nearly two months. Honestly, the weight of the dropper is centered on the bike, it's barely ever felt(like hubs). My confidence has increased, since using the dropper post.

How much do you want to spend? People can rattle off ideas all day long.

Best dollar to weight? Get a narrow/wide ring and lose the front shifting parts.
