I've been in love w. the Roubaix since I started riding. Did a Retul fit and found out it was the best fit for my body/flexibility.
Spent thousands of miles on mine and I feel they're great bikes w. geometry ideal for more than most riders seem to admit.
My 2012 SL3 is good enough for top 5% on our local 5.5mi decent, so those who say they don't handle are silly!
2012 Roubaix SL3 Expert - Ultegra, Mavic SLR, ZIPP.. (SOLD)
2014 S-Works Roubaix SL4 - Red22/Disc (Stock shot, pre fit.. Quarq and Pave' 0-offset seatpost coming)
Alright.. let's see them! Don't be ashamed out there! haha

It will be interesting if you can increase your speed on the descent with the disc brakes. Nice bike!

I haven't ran it there for the whole climb/descent yet, just some repeats of the bottom.
The chassis is much stiffer and I'm madly in love w. these brakes! My first time w. bike/disc and it seemed like they took a while before the brake pads broke in..
Now I have a smoother feel and they have a consistent sound at different pressures, which I don't feel is a real performance indicator but it seems like everything is working in harmony. Light pressure = squeal, medium pressure = humm, and when haulin' it down.. just grabs!

Yes, the Tarmac is RED lettering w. gloss BLACK stripes.. I like the subtlety of the "s-works" wording!
Other than fitting and steerer trim she's good. Jury is still out on the Rovals..
Everyone says they're really stiff but coming from Mavic Ksyrium SLR's nothing feels all that stiff. Enve 3.4 disc!? :p

Very cool I did the same this year ie changed from a 2013 SL4 Tarmac to a 2012 SL3 Roubaix. Besides the better fit I like it has room for larger tires, the longer wheel base and lower bb. I'm still working on my fit though as I had to lower the seat from the fitting and I need to adjust the handle bar down a little.
Front when I just got the bike. I now run 3T Team stealth post, stem and bar.

I love those colors.. better than the white one in 2011!
That bike running DA has to be butter.
I'm tuning my CAAD10 up now for the days we pack ride fast/flat. So it'll be nice to have both bikes and enjoy their differences.

Nice bikes, looks like Roubaix's don't get much love on this site.
