Surprise surprise! Campagnolo site lists now weights for the Bora 35 and 50 in both tubular and clincher versions!

Bora One 35 - 1215g / 1406g
Bora Ultra 35 - 1160g / 1370g

Bora One 50 - 1265g / 1485g
Bora Ultra 50 - 1215g / 1435g

I saw that this week. I find it weird because when they put a product on the website it means it is available or will shortly. But they never announced anything and even Campy North America has no idea whatsoever. So is it a mistake? who knows! I remember when Campy said they would never produce clinchers for the Bora line because they were designed for racing. We will know shortly if they announce something at Eurobike. If they do make them, i'm sure they will be bulletproof. Don't hear alot of complaints with hyperon clinchers.

So it is official. Campy just sent a press release about the new bora 35 and 50 clinchers. They kept it secret untill the last moment.

Looking at Campy's listing on there website there sure seems to be - it even lists a weight of 1435 Gram for Bora 50 Ultra's

http://www.campagnolo.com/CA/en/Wheels/bora_ultra_50

and 1370 for 35 Ultra's

http://www.campagnolo.com/CA/en/Wheels/ ... a_ultra_35

Maybe this is why Campy didn't a 30mm Version of the new Fulcrum 30mm

There is already a thread open in the wheels section.

I posted a link for the press release.

Finally - That's fantastic!

I know what's going on my next bike. 2015 SR and 35 MM Ultra Bora Clinchers - I love the way Campy Hubs roll!

I'm guessing no Rim strips either.

Bora Ultras just lost some of their appeal... When I close my eyes, I see bikes with clincher Boras, Gatorskins, sad saddles and upturned MTB stems with horrible bar angles... *f##k* clinchers.

I like the idea of Bora Ultra 35 Clinchers. Not as race specific as tubulars but more practical. When will the public be able to buy them?
It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

Is fulcrum going to do a version of the 35 and 50's?

LOL - I agree. On balance I'm favourable as the weights are good, and clinchers are fine ... just not as good.

I will be after the fat 35s ... in tubular format ...

I'm wondering about this as well. Fulcrum hasn't made any announcements regarding their 2015 Racing Speed wheels yet

Fulcrum already has the 35 and 50mm called racing speed with the older rim profile. Its only a matter of time before they announce the new wheels with the new 24mm wide rim. You can bet they will have the clincher model in the lineup.

Pretty excited to see these clinchers arrive but really need to see some aero results to know if they are worth buying over all the other options out there.
