Wasn't aiming for a lightweight build (Okay maybe a little) but I built it to tackle the San Francisco Bay Area riding conditions. Built with mostly Bontrager components, SRAM Force group and a few lightweight trinkets from Fairwheel Bikes and Mash SF.

OK
Here is my steel ride.
She’s a Pinarello Dynalite - Banesto racing frame 'La Vuelta' model.
I'm running Campy Record 11s and I built up some Galli Top-Crit singles because they are Italian and they match the frame.
Before anyone shoots me for the tape job. It was temporary so I could ride it the next day...., I have traditional cloth bar tape (matching blue) currently.
The seat post has been changed to alloy to balance the quill stem

She sits at about 8.3kg on the road and rides better than any other bike in my stable. I bought her off an ex Banesto team mechanic from Spain and the name badge on the top tube is Juan Pedro Carlos. I tried looking him up on the internet...., but there is not a lot of details on the Banesto riding roster back in the 90's that I can find.
I have also heard a story that the Banesto frames were commissioned by Pinarello to Dario Pegoretti to build the frames for the Banesto team under their name....., I don't know if this is fact or fiction - but it makes a great story.

Apologies for the poor photos - they weren't taken with the intention for display

My sanino, I love it - columbus Genuis tubing and record 10 speed. this is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden, shame the top tube is a bit short but I can live with that for such a great ride. I am just waiting for the frame to crack so I can buy a geneis volare. Before that though it will be stripped and the end of the racing season (19th October is the last one for me) and be repainted. It will be reassembled with super record RS and the record 10 speed will appear on a new steel steed a genesis equilibrium disc.

I built up this Centurion Ironman from scratch, it is a 1987 with Tange #1 tubing.

52cm size, with Chris King nothreadset + Wound Up fork
Pacenti / WI T11 wheelset
Shimano 5700 groupset (will be 5800s soon!)
Ritchey Classic cockpit.

It is sitting at 19.5 pounds (roughly 8.8kg?) right now. I can easily lose a lot of weight with the groupset and cockpit, but I want to keep the 105s and Ritchey Classic cockpit for aesthetic reasons (silver > black for this frame).

bm0p700f: traditional tubed frame with deep-ish wheels, always a winning combination!

I cant say that dario made your rig but ihe told me that he did a lot of development for the miquel indurains frame's and the banesto frame's not sure if he was still full time employed by pinarello at the time your frame was made but you wont be far of saying that dario pegoretti had a sern yand in fabricating your frame

Not a strawberry... looks like a "dingleberry" based on the placement.

Centurian looks good though.

Like it a lot.
But... I would prefer black instead of orange hubs and purple headset-spacers.
The Colnago fork is not a good idea either IMHO.

I know!
Wheels are those of My Litespeed T3.

Now, I have: White Industries T11 silver/Mavic Reflex 32h on this bike ;-)
I have the origin Ciöcc steel fork (chrome), but it's really really really not stiff enough!
