Haha, OK you've got me there!! Although that reflective lens does makes them seem even more OTT.

I can't decide whether they're pimp or plain ridiculous LOL. Maybe I adopt the YOLO mentality and just get them regardless.

For something vintage and nice looking I would go for something like:

or

I have the first model in green. High quality lenses, light (27gr) and really cool!

if you have a correct period bike, go for it. otherwise, i would stick with the oakley blades. they are similar in size to the oakley radar

Strange they didn't go with the vented lens or the retro Oakley logo on the lens for this re-release. I've an original pair (and some razor blades) at home. Might have to dust them off for my next club run...

At least use a period correct helmet.

Good point. A Mixino - Eyeshade combination has probably never be attempted before

Couple that combo with an S5 and it's got to be a fashion faux pas!!

Maybe I'll try the latest Racing Jacket glasses instead :beerchug:

I still have them back from the 80s, at that time a must have, but today the look is a bit too retro, i.e. it should to be matched with a 80s bike imo

They did, but it's "etched" and not white silkscreened on the lens.

I have a pair of the 30th anniversary razor blades that I like to wear with a Renault-Elf jersey I have when goofing around on rides with friends.
They're neat for what they are, but the technology is of course a bit dated. Compared to modern Radarlocks, the razor blades fog easier, the top of the frame is lower so visibility when in the drops is less, and less secure on the head due to the lack of unobtanium ear pieces. But I couldn't pass them up for $60. I just hope they release more "loud" colors. The current 3 colors they've released the eyeshades and razor blades in are playing it a bit too safe, but I understand they want to sell everything.

I agree with the last 4 posts. They work in a complete retro package.

Unfortunately, The budget stretches to new glasses but not a matching retro bike.

Oh I didn't mean that bit about the period correct helmet seriously. If you feel like, rock 'em. Put some fun into riding. Do the yolo thing.
