Sram s900 crankset in mtb with xx1 spider

This may be the werid question but ... is it possible to install s900 road gxp crankset in mtb with xx1 style ( spider on it ?
the crank seems to be the same as xx1 crank ... or maybe the spindle length is different
i am asking because i have one spare s900 lying around :)
something like this ...

I'm sure the spindle length is different. But I think you should be able to install an XX1-spider.

Spindle will be 5mm shorter. If you have a 68mm BB you should be able to get it to work though.

spider will fit.

spindle will be shorter. if you have a 68mm bottom bracket shell on the frame you'll be able to install it

q-factor will be narrower. the crankarms will probably hit the chainstays so it won't actually be functional.

Read the SRAM framefit doc on their tech page, you should be able to take a few simple measurements to work out if it will fit.

If you've got a 73mm BB you're likely to be out of luck though.
