and the last piece to the puzzle...

Got my Zipp 303 firecrests back from converting to 11s hub.. 8)

and the final weight with:
Schwalbe Ultremo HT 25mm tubular tires and
Ultegra 11-28 cassette is...
6.40kg! pretty stoked with that..

Had a bit of drama with this, already had the Zipps from my last bike, but they've been sitting in their wheel bags over the winter for a few months, then another few weeks for the hub conversion. Finally took them out to install to find the front tire leaking!! :o No idea how but I'm guessing the rubber inside the tubulars deformed a bit when they sat flat in the wheel bag for all that time then decided to develop a leak..
Tried some Tufo extreme tire sealant and that seems to have done the trick, the tire is holding good pressure for 2 days now.. can't wait to ride it!! :beerchug:

Impressive! Thanks for sharing. I am also in the progress of building bike. And, I love climbing as you do. :)

May I know the weight of your frame?

Frame weight is 880g for a size 47 including hardware on my dealer's scale. This is an old 2013 frame, new 2014 frame should be much lighter!

Thanks for your reply. Just realized that you have changed ur cassette from 11-32 to 11-28. I am too getting a 11-32 but with ultegra di2. Wondering if I should get the sram 1190 cassette?

Does look great. I prefer the Black & White without any Red.

How do you find the Spec saddle?

Only reason I would get sram 1190 would be weight, and from all reports I've read Sram and Shimano works great together.. YMMV.. good luck..

Normally I hate seeing red of any kind on my bike, but I didn't mind it so much on this build with the WC rainbow graphics..
Saddles are VERY personal, I've tried all sorts, San Marco, Fizik, other Spec's etc and finally settled on this Romin Pro.. Some find the nose too wide, but I actually like it as I tend to sit more forward making it quite comfy for me, even on century rides.. :)

Update, made a few small changes:
-FSA Wing Pro Compact handlebar, had these from my old bike, prefer the bend and flat top over the SL-K CF bar..
-Deda Zero 100 white stem, for the white and 8° angle..
-Cheapo cork bar tape, to see if i like the white..
Image

And got a new set of wheels, wanted some lighter AL clinchers
-2015 Mavic R-SYS SLR clincher with matching Mavic tires

PSM: Liking the white bar tape more than I thought I would.. thanks for the suggestion!
and happy to report that after 1 year and ~2500km, still loving the BMC.. 8)
