Just reading through this thread makes me think of a crazy 1998 R900 2.8 build I did a year ago. Another project I regret parting with but I guess I find half the fun in the build! It was a very lively ride though and the cantilevered rear stays really shorten and stiffen the rear end so much!

The 2.8 frames were phenomenally light and from what I remember this came in at a little over 7kg

I think I'll try DA chain after this. But I really like KMC chain.

I have 50-34 chainrings. It looks bigger in the pic.

Some updates and minor changes for the off season. New bars (Zipp SC CSL), wrap (ESI RCT), and an ultegra 11-28 cassette.

So close to mine...

2014 UI2 52cm. Enve compact bar, 3T Dorico LTD seatpost, Zipp 303 clinchers. It's not superlight, but plenty light for me.
