Looks clean - the white brakes are really a cool choice!

Sweet bike dude. How does the 50mm rake compare to the stock 45mm?

Hey Cam, good to see you back on a CAAD mate! How do your current employer's view this? :D

@rouleur01: I suspect you may have me confused with someone else as my employers don't care in the slightest what I ride :?

@rheosibal: It's a fair amount lighter that's for sure  Other than that after the first couple of rides I didn't really notice it. Hadn't been riding a huge amount when I swapped it out so wasn't particularly in tune with the bike. Slightly less toe overlap which is a perk and maybe turns into corners a little bit 'nicer' but its rather subtle (at least for me).

Ah, sorry about that. So, not Cam W of Cycling IQ then? My mistake. Great looking CAAD by the way, I had the exact same colour in a size 50 with Record 11 on it until a Sydney driver decided not to see me last year. I upgraded to a CAAD10 Black Inc and now have a Giant Propel with my new job.

Nice bike...

Do you take any advantage using 25mm tire on the back and 23 on the front?

Partially because I brought some 25's to replace the 23's but the front one was too nice to replace. Also partly to steepen the headangle a touch but to be honest I didn't notice it too much.

I'll try but my camera is rather lacking. Might be able to get my friend to take some pictures.

Thanks a lot CamW.

I ask you because I bought a pair of Continental GP4000s 25mm and I will try it this weekend.

Very nice you're Caad ;)

Update pic with dancin' shoes!

Image

Couple of small changes.

Switched to keywin carbon cro-mo pedals. Same pedal weight as the speedplays but my cleat set up ended up being miles lighter.

Switched to Antares saddle. Suits ma butt better but adds a few grams. Might pick up a lightweight version when the right one pops up in classifieds.

I suspect its in the 6.8-7kg range with these wheels but haven't confirmed. Might ride it round to the shop during the week to find out.
