Competitive Cyclist is now advertising the new SR mechanical crank set.
Here is the link which I provided because it has some nice photographs:
http://www.competitivecyclist.com/compe ... mv_pc=r105
The crank set looks like the previous models with toned-down graphics. The rear derailleur looks pretty good. In the blurb accompanying the shifters, the "RS" version (that's what's being advertised) is noted as a "limited edition, mid-season offering". That qualifier isn't present elsewhere that I noticed. I hope this version is the actual 2015 iteration, since some of the scans here on WW of a crankset were really aesthetic horrors. Prices are punishing.

Ah, ha! A clever inversion of a couple of letters and you have an entirely novel set of components!! In any event, if the appearance of the 2015 line-up looks like the RS, I'd like it a lot. If it looks like the pictures shown in this thread, I'd pass (but I did just spring in December for new SR-11 parts to replace my 2006 Record set-up, so I'd pass anyway).
Thanks for clarifying,
KAC
Any news on release date yet?

It's a different aesthetic, but I still dig it.

On the first of speedyvelo's links it says October at the bottom of the page.
aaaa Thank you. I have visited that page so many times, I did not realised they have updated it with a date. Thank you so much!
