originally planned a 2nd bike to pair with this build as a rainy day ride, but as always, the imagination got in the way of budget.
started early this year as 2014 r5 frame only production sample in clearcoat, found an r3 fork to pair it with. had it stripped and painted in non-cervelo colors. liked the finished product a lot and snowballed into a full build.
intended the build to be Italian powered (groupset, wheels, tires), just couldn't resist using Spanish rings, my favorite Taiwan cranks and cockpit.
hope youll like it.

Awesome idea to get it painted in such a bold colour. How much does the wheelset weigh by itself?

Nice! It would have been sweet to carry the black to the inner chain stays via a thin line down the seat tube and again on the inner fork blades.....but I nitpick  Great job!

Not typically a Cervelo fan.
But that is awesome.
Very impressive weight & looks beautifully simple.

What a gorgeous build! Especially in light of the World Cup football where Holland is making headway to be tournament favorite! :beerchug:
