Aimar from Amaro also offered me the Grammy for my Amaro Loren But i like the Look of straight blades a bit more.

Ok if You Look sharply on the scale, 50 Grams Are 50 Grams ;0)

I will also so use a deda Zero 100 ( custom paint by amaro ) combined with my favorite handlebar the 3t rotundo Ltd which saves 100 Grams to an alloy deda bar ;0) for Example a deda Newton anatomic.

Nice frame!
Please don't search too hard for that Dark Metal cockpit. The color always dissapoints. Custom painting the stem and bars might really suit this frameset.

Agree with Stoli. On my last steel build I had the cranks, seatpost, brakes, bottle cages, headset and stem all polished. I've had the deda metal finish before but it doesn't match the other components.

May just go with the original plan for Fizik alloy bars & carbon post then. That is if it turns up on time.

ultimobici wrote:It isn't a stock Acciaio Stainless. The regular version has a normal 1 1/8" straight head tube and uses a Columbus Minimal fork. This has not only a 44mm head tube to accommodate the tapered fork, but also has a slightly larger diameter down tube as well. So it's like a Super Acciaio Stainless.

Many jealous.

I built up my Super Acciaio 3-4 months ago and love it, but I was pulling my hair out deciding between Stainless Acciaio, the Super or a Genisis Volare Team. Now you've gone and combined the best of all three of those bikes.

Bars will be mated with Zero 100 for Deda and Fizik R3 for Fizik, and all will be in Black. Post is a choice between Superzero or Cyrano Carbon depending on the bar/stem make. Saddle will be either an Arione CX or Arione 00. Wallet will likely decide that!

As for the polished bits, I've tracked down some silver UT cups so I'll use a Record 11 chainset. So other than the polished knuckles on the rear mech there'll be little to clash.

Thoughts?

whichever you do... make it black. the polished stem doesnt match the stays and, as a result, clashes rather noticeably.

Here you go. Both are bolt on fittings.
