wish you would have stuck with black hoods, but its gonna look bad to the ass either way once it gets built!

I bounced around with the color of the hoods, at one point I was going to go with green. I'm doing white tape and white hoods so that it all matches. I didn't want to do black tape, and black hoods with white tape doesn't look great to me.

Quick update. Got the cranks, they should be here in a couple of days. I will be ordering the derailleurs next week and then the build will be completed.

Cranks finally arrived. They're so well made, and light! Check out the weight with the rings installed.

I assume the crank is BB30? That is a great weight! My GXP version came in at 425g for a bare crank.

i've been quietly stalking this thread for what feels like years. i've broken my silence just to say "build the damn bike already." i'm looking forward to the finished product.

Hahah, it's actually been a year since I started. Almost there. Had a 6 month delay that was out if my control. Thanks for sticking with it.

Ok, final parts are here. I installed the Fibre-lyte pulleys and plate onto the rear derailleur. I have a little time tomorrow to work on the build, but the next post will be of the completed bike and final weight.
