Yes, every detail is absolutely amazing. The bottle cages look as if they came with the frameset.

There are so many terrific looking Colnagos here I thought I'd post a new old stock C40HP that I purchased last month. Not the color scheme that I'd choose but it's growing on me...

BTW - How the hell do you add a link to the photo so it appears on my post? Tried multiple times.

I have a C40 just like that one except built with Record 10 speed. It's one of five C40s in my inventory (a lifetime supply since this old guy doesn't need stiffer or lighter). After a couple of years, it's started to grow on me. And it still has that great Colnago handling (at least I think it's great, to the extent that my new Moots S&S bike copied Colnago geometry) and the C40 ride.

Just enjoy it.

I don't have deep pockets either, but there is ebay. Set up some searches and keep checking, you'll eventually score a nasty Nago. Many Master's kicking around the Bay these days.

Looks good, but there's something not looking right with the bar/lever setup.

yes, @carlisgeorge try to tilt it a bit up, so the levers are perpendicular to the floor.

yep, I double checked and my bars were not fully tightened. now properly rotated. i'll take a few more pics and post the C59 with weights as a separate thread. Not very ww-oriented though, comes in right at 6.98 kg as shown with Campy SR mechanical and Deda cockpit as the only even passing nod to weight savings.
