Pioneer pedaling monitor sensor (powermeter) version II
I have emailed Pioneer and this is what the replied:
De producten zullen in Nederland door Santini Benelux worden verkocht.
Naar verwachting zullen de systemen eind April begin Mei geleverd kunnen
gaan worden.
De laatste test worden momenteel uitgevoerd door team Belkin en Raboliv.
The products will be sold in the Netherlands through Santini Benelux.
The systems are expected to be delivered end april beginning may.
This moment the last tests are in progress by Belkin and Raboliv.
Anyone of you have ridden the first version?

It fits Ultra Torque BB cups.
Ah I see. Thanks. So wouldn't work with the Athena groupo.
Not sure what you mean?
It's a Campag Ultra Torque crank retro-fitted with Power2max powermeter. If Campag 11 speed rings are fitted it'll function exactly like an Campag 11 speed (SR, Record, Chorus, Athena) crank.
As I previously said, it needs Ultra Torque cups. If you've got Power Torque cups you'd need to change them.

Good news for those considering a Quarq, bad news for those who may have recently bought a Quarq:
Quarq drops price (and chainrings) on power meters

Ahhh, 694 g doesn't sound bad.http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/verve-infocrank-power-meter-nearly-released-40800/ wrote:Verve Cycling's InfoCrank power meter is scheduled to go on sale within a couple of months for US$1,750/£1,260/€1,533/AU$1,999 for the 694g (claimed) crankset.
But, Porky Pig called. He wants his crank back.
So 994 g, not 694 g !!!!!!!!!http://www.vervecycling.com/store/infocrank --> Verve Store --> Construction wrote:Crank arms weigh 694g complete with power module and spider
Chainrings, bottom bracket and cadence magnets add minimal 300g additional weight to total system
Specialized is good at many things, but their record on electronics is relatively poor.

How would you say they are not as technically good?

I've tried to attach a pic but it doesn't work. I've no account at flickr, cloud ... so I just could upload it directly from my notebook. In other forum this is working, here not, sorry.

Apologies, completely missed your post: Campagnolo deliveries are ramping up, first units are out with customers already.

Just been to the SRM website and there is now a UCB version - User Changeable Battery using 2 x AA batteries in the BB.
Looks very sensible approach in terms of long battery life and low / protected battery position.
It would be good to know when this will be rolled out to the rest of the SRM line-up - Campag in particular, and how this could work with Ultra-torque.
