I really doubt it, a 26"/2.3 barely fits.

Thanks - was hoping. Saw a guy fitting a 650B front wheel and 2.1" RR in the previous SID version so was hoping it might work out :-)

I'll drop a 650b wheel into mine tomorrow to double check but I seriously doubt it will go!!!

The bike is getting older and older but still works fine - just mounted a pair of 27.5" Schwalbe Thunder Burts EVO. Looking forward to trying these tires.

Thinking about getting a pair of carbon rims with Mack hubs and Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

I just found this topic. I love it.

I have a Scott Scale RC 26" and i'm thinking of converting it to 27.5.

I don't see any differences from the Spark that should change my mind.

I also have a Scott Scale 35 26" and I don't think that we can convert it to 27.5 because the rear triangle is to narrow. I can't even fit a tyre wider than 2.0, only some of the 2.1.

:noidea:

Damn.

I'll try finding someone with a 27.5-wheelset before I Invest too much then. I really hope it's possible.

I can't really find any info on the topic on the web. That might be because you're right, Alfie... :?

Strange, my scale came with 2.25" and they fit fine. Quite a few different brands (some 2.2 some 2.25) as well, none have rubbed. Even going to wider rims hasn't caused an issue. (still not *really* wide, just wider than the stock wheels!)

My scale is a 2010 model. I don't know if in later models they fixed this.
