That is super nice! Wheels are seriously mint.

Yet they didn't put any AX brakes on it or lighter chainrings?

This is a classic example of a bike that is disjointed for me. Every single part on the bike is superb, but they all come together as a unit that is a pure, straightforward tool, no standout aesthetic appeal or soul. There is just something missing, some "wow" factor (says the guy who eschews black bikes... )

wheel graphics... eyes hurt
Just looks horrible. Sure spend a lot of cash, but 80mm rear, 55 front? on a 5.2kg bike that scream climbing? decals are too LOUD. spider, chainring, bar tape, looks wrong on the bike. Sorry.

I agree, 80/80 was needed.
But graphics need a recheck.

He made a small mistake. This way the AX components stand more out then his frame. He'd better take the stickers off. AX will probably be happy with the free commercial actions of him.

If you are going to go deep aero wheels, I would rather have something truly aero like Hed/Zipp/Enve. Also, if spending that much on a build, I would skip SRAM chainrings and go Praxis if I wanted sublime performance or Fibre-Lyte if I wanted to save weight. But hey, they could always continue to improve the build. Right?

uhm, AX lightness is the only company that is allowed to use the shapes of the FC zipp rims. so these are truly aero.

The seat post looks a bit odd going into the frame. There seems to be something above the seat-post clamp.
Its all very nice, just to many different shades of black and the wheel decals look OTT.
Chuck the chain on the big ring and the crank would look better.
Its a cool bike and nice weight.
