I have searched the web for this and have drawn a blank. Does anyone have first hand knowledge on whether the 2014 Canyon Ultimate CF SLX frame and forks have enough clearance for the current crop of wide/bulging rims (303/404 Firecrest, Enve SES 3.4 etc.)? I know the Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team Katusha model comes with the Mavic Cosmic CXR 60 WTS Clincher Wheelset which is reportedly 27 mm wide with CX01 blades fitted, but don't know how the Mavic rim profile compares to the others.

How about an email to Canyon? They respond quick and normally with the correct feedback (they will even try it out themselves is my experience). If you have a few days I will receive a Zipp 808 firecrest frontwheel and I have a Canyon CF SLX 2013 (which is the same according to Canyon).

I run both Firecrest 404 and Enve SES 3.4 on my CF SLX without any problems... lots of space.
