Took the bike into my preferred bike shop today. They've helped a lot.
had an ultegra 6701 chain installed and they helped me out with a few bits.
No pictures, but he threw it on the scale too. 16.07 lbs as pictured above +chain. I just need to add my carbon bottle cages, levers, bar wrap and cables so I expect somewhere around 17.2lbs complete.

Bike is together.
I don't have a good picture with me, but I have some on the SLR at home. If you want to see it, here it is on my Instagram.

Going to break it in tonight after I drop off my wife at work. I hope the ride goes smoothly... just planning a short 15km ride. Being that I haven't ridden outdoors since last October and its a chilly 0 degrees c out in Kingston still.

Cool looking bike. How do you like it?
If you want to see 'meh' content of me and my bike you can follow my life in pictures here!'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'
I was out on a ride last night and my front mech started to not downshift from big to small rings.
Any idea why that would happen? the cable went slack but the mech would stay where it was. I lubed it up, but its still really, really stiff.
no problem shifting it down by hand (forcing it low) and then going back to the big, but big to small shifts don't happen any more.

changed the group, stem, crank, saddle and brakes.
bike looks like this now:
(perspective makes the bars look way off)
haven't weighted it, but it should be a hair lighter being that the cranks are lighter, stem is lighter, saddle is lighter and the group with brakes is relatively close. had a bad puncture on one of the pro4's so im working on this old rear tire for now.
I want to find a nice carbon handlebar to put on it soon with compact tops and traditional shape drops. the drops on this bar are awful.
