Steff, where did you get the carbon plate for the SRAM front derailleur? I assume it's the 2012+ YAW front derailleur... And maybe explain the tuning...

I'm very curious as to why you changed from the Gravitas to the Fibulas. Was it simply a weight savings? How did the Gravitas perform compared to the Fibulas?

I've yet to make it to Comté but will someday. Fantastic riding from what I hear.

Great build.

I have bought carbon plate with 2mm thickness , cut it and adjust it with dremel tool
I had cut the original one and fix the carbon plate with M3 screws
For the gravitas I was upset because they worked better with red old shifter
Finally I prefer the fibulas( mod 2012) because I prefer there stopping power

This looks really great. And cool that you've stuck with a frame and evolved it along for a few years now. I know I buy and sell too many, sometimes before discovering the essence of the build like you have.

I really like the R3sl frame : light, the stiffness I like and the geometry I like too
In that case I don't know why I would change , the look ?

no I put bartape but I had received the handlebar 2 days ago but I usually use velox or bennotto bartape so it doesn't give any confort

Nice paint, where did you get it done? My wife's R3 is broken and she hates the silver version (that can of course be had really reasonable now) so I'm looking to find someone to take that off and repaint black maybe w/ a bit of red.
