Not quite done but I finally got some money together to build up some custom wheels for this bike. They are Kings/(20/24/CXrays)/A23s tied and soldered and they are exceptional so far and 1.55kg. Sold my quarq and replaced it with 6800s and a stages for my Colnago and cross bikes. Also replaced some of the bits, post and stem, with Thompson stuff. Still need to re-size the chain and do the final checks and clean up but I think it does look better this way. Now grill away! Rain down your internet criticisms!
certainly starting to look better. Cockpit looks like it fits more naturally now, those wheels are a good match.
I think one of the biggest issues here are the photo's, borrowing a half decent camera an taking a few well composed shots in natural light might just work wonders.

Love the frame. But Zipp 808s belong on a TT bike or a Specialized Venge / Scott Foil, not on a beautiful classic frame like this.

I like every single incarnation of this bike.
I don't understand people who sit at their keyboards being internet bike-rules police. It's a bike, it has an owner who enjoys it. If anyone wants to build one up to their own preferences, all they have to do is get their credit card out and do so.

ahem...
The main and only point to post one's bike pictures on a public forum, is to share with a community and by doing so, receive praise or criticism, constructive or not.
If you don't want that, just don't post
BTW this is a great community with many posters that have many high end, beautiful and inspiring bikes with top builds, so your references about to express your opinons through your "credit card" is kind of ridiculous.
